Plastic Processing

Wood Plastic is a synthetic material, made up of wood flour and plastic. In addition to resin and wood pulp, WPC may also contain some cellulose-based or inorganic filling additives. Therefore, WPC can also be called natural fiber plastic composite material or natural fiber reinforced with plastic.

WPC has many applications in the market, especially for use as a raw material. Wood plastic is most widely used in outdoor projects such as outdoor flooring, and can also be used to make railings outdoor fences, decorative wood, screens, park benches, and frames, door and window coverings,...or can make interior and exterior wooden furniture. Manufacturers insists that WPC is more environmentally friendly, and requires less maintenance than other types of treated solid wood. In addition to being cracked and cracked, these types of treated wood can also be susceptible to termites and rot quickly due to the humid environment outside.

Wood Plastic is still a very new material compared to the long development history of natural wood in application as a construction material, but it can replace wood in most cases where it is not load-bearing (non-structural).

Wood plastic is formed from wood, (such as sawdust, pulp fibers, peanut shells, bamboo, rice husks, etc.) and plastic (HDPE, PVC, PP, ABS, PS, etc. can be used). Wood plastic powder is spread evenly and uniformly, then extruded or pressed into required shapes. Additives such as colorants, bonding agents, stabilizers, reinforcements, embossing agents, etc. will help make the final product suitable for many applications..

A major advantage of Plastic Wood over wood is the material's ability to be shaped into virtually any spatial shape upon request. It is easily bent, and fixed to form large curves. Due to the combination in the production process, wood plastic has properties like wood: it can be processed with traditional carpentry tools. At the same time, Wood Plastic has the same properties as plastic: moisture-proof and rot-proof, although its hardness is not as strong as regular wood, and can be slightly deformed in extremely hot weather environments.

The main advantage of plastic wood products is that the construction of outdoor structures as an alternative to natural wood does not require painting because the product can be produced in many colors, but mainly gray tones. Another advantage is that it is environmentally friendly, taking advantage of wood resources that cannot be reused in the production of wooden products, when natural wood resources are increasingly scarce.
